Chuck Haselwood's trip from a small-town farm in Ellensburg to a popular business owner and neighborhood leader in Bremerton is a testimony to his perseverance and business spirit. Birthed in 1923, Chuck's tale began with a vibrant decision to leave the farming life and hitchhike to Bremerton, where he began his job working at a gasoline station. His service in The second world war under General Patton just developed his drive, leading him to get in the previously owned vehicle organization after returning home. Partnering with Danny Jones, Chuck released his own gas station and sold vehicles, at some point creating a lasting collaboration with Bud Higgs to create Chuck & Buds-- a car dealership that focused on client service, providing guarantees unusual at the time.

Chuck's relentless drive for development led him to expand his service past used autos. Chuck's heritage lives on not simply in the cars he offered, but in his deep dedication to his community, which proceeds to flourish in Kitsap Area today.
